Fernleaf Learning Workshops

Executive Masterclass Series
Strategic leadership and executive decision-making for leaders operating in increasingly data-dependent organisations.

Leading With Data
DATA MINDED LEADERSHIP SERIES
Leading with Data is a two-day in-person leadership development program designed for leaders working in increasingly data-dependent organisations.
Using practical Leadership Practices, facilitated discussion, reflection, and real-world leadership experiences, the program explores how leadership behaviours shape whether data becomes confidence, conversation, or meaningful organisational action. Rather than focusing on technical concepts, analytics, or dashboards, the program develops the leadership capability to ask better questions, exercise sound judgement, and lead evidence-informed decisions in everyday organisational practice.
Participants leave with greater confidence in leading themselves and others, practical leadership guides, and a deeper understanding of the behaviours that strengthen decision-making, governance, accountability, and organisational capability.
To support ongoing application, each participant also receives a one-hour individual coaching session, scheduled at a mutually convenient time with the facilitator. The coaching session provides an opportunity to reflect on leadership challenges, apply the Leadership Practices within their own organisational context, and strengthen practical leadership capability beyond the workshop.
What this program explores
Why leading with data begins long before a dashboard is opened
Asking better questions to improve organisational understanding and decision-making
Making confident decisions when information is incomplete or uncertain
Leading conversations that build trust, judgement, and accountability
Creating leadership behaviours that enable evidence-informed teams and organisational capability
Who should attend
EL1 and EL2 leaders, or equivalent managers
Leaders responsible for organisational performance, service delivery, or governance
Managers leading teams working in increasingly data-dependent environments
Leaders seeking to strengthen judgement, leadership capability, and evidence-informed decision-making
Leading Through Data
EXECUTIVE MASTERCLASS SERIES
Leading Through Data is an in-person executive leadership development program designed for leaders operating in complex decision environments where evidence is often incomplete, contested, or interpreted differently across the organisation.
Using practical scenarios and facilitated discussion, the program explores how leadership behaviours influence whether data becomes insight, noise, or meaningful action. Rather than focusing on technical concepts, it examines judgement, governance, accountability, and the leadership behaviours that shape decision-making in practice.
Participants leave with practical leadership insights, executive tools, and greater confidence in leading conversations where evidence, uncertainty, organisational priorities, and accountability intersect.
To support ongoing application, each participant also receives a one-hour individual coaching session, scheduled at a mutually convenient time with the facilitator. The coaching session provides an opportunity to reflect on leadership challenges, decision environments, and the practical application of the concepts explored throughout the program within their own organisational context.
What this program explores
How leadership behaviours influence the effective use of data in organisational decisions
Why evidence is often challenged, ignored, or interpreted differently
The role of governance in supporting better organisational decision-making
Leading conversations where uncertainty, risk, accountability, and competing priorities intersect
Practical approaches for leading in data-dependent environments
Who should attend
Executives and senior leaders
Senior managers responsible for organisational performance, strategy, or governance
Leaders responsible for guiding teams that work with data, evidence, or organisational decision-making
